Tropical Boho Island Elopement

March 30, 2020

This magical PNW island elopement was incredibleeee! I knew from the very first email Cortney sent (due to the enthusiasm and amount of exclamation points) that she was my dream bride! She was positive, crazy in love, looking for an untraditional adventure and was so in love with my work that she was willing to adjust her wedding date if needed – TEARS! And lemme tell ya, I was so right! Cortney & Maurice were not only a dream couple to work with but they had the dreamiest PNW elopement in front of a beautiful lake followed by an amazing adventure in the forest!!

With just their closest friends and fam by their side, these two promised forever!! There was not a dry eye in the houseeee as they exchanged vows!! Seeing them get teary-eyed seeing each other for the first time that day was the absolute sweetest! After their intimate lakeside ceremony, we adventured into the forest and took epic bride & groom portraits in front of a waterfall! I loved that they embraced the whole process and had fun from beginning to end. Feel seriously lucky to have gotten to capture so many priceless moments and to have created magic together!!

I also haveee to point out their incredible wedding day style!!! Cortney had the most beautiful long sleeve lace wedding gown!! It was sooo dreamy and romantic! And she carried a beautiful boho bouquet of flowers with wildflowers and greenery! And a matching floral hairpiece!! Maurice looked so cool in his grey suit and fun socks! They just complemented each other perfectly!!

These two are just so crazy in love and their dreamy lakeside elopement gave me all the feels!!
